"Warm, friendly community pub with high-quality pub grub! Such a lovely pub! Delicious, top-quality food and warm, friendly service. I wish we lived closer so we could call this our local; we would be coming here all the time!"

" Excellent Country Pub Three of us went for Friday night dinner, two of us had the the pie of the day which was Devine, remainder had the chicken supreme which was lovely, all the meals came with lots of tasty freshly cooked vegetables (I swopped the mashed potatoes for chips with the pie ), which was no problem, the service was efficient and friendly. Great range of drinks within a welcoming environment. Would definitely recommend."

"Lovely community owned pub, great food, friendly staff Had Sunday lunch (roast pork) at the community owned Fox pub yesterday, it was superb. Lovely variety of fresh veg, cauliflower cheese included rather than an optional extra and homemade yorkies on all roasts. Homemade pate for starter with home made pear chutney- also delicious. And all reasonably priced. As well as a choice of 2 roasts there was a fish and a veggie choice available too. Plus smaller portions available for us not so big eaters. A true sense of community. Thankyou Nb; it was busy so probably best to book"

"Excellent I don’t usually write reviews but today I had Sunday lunch at the fox in Loxley with a friend, it was excellent! I go as far to say it was probably the best Sunday roast I’ve ever had in restaurant! See you next Sunday"

"Reasonable amount of parking space. Great welcome and very friendly staff. Good British pub atmosphere. Varied tables and seating either in the main area or quieter off to one side. Good selection of dishes and drinks. Super local food well prepared and presented. Sensible prices and no pressure. A really great place and I hope you enjoy your visit as much as I did."
