"Superb Sunday Roast We fly for a hobby, airfield cafes on the whole are nothing special. We always look for a pub within a couple of miles walk from an airfield, we appreciate the exercise as does our flying Border Collie. We booked a table on line before leaving the south coast. Just a superb Sunday roast, simply the best with a warm welcome, great service and close by to the log burning stove. One of the best Sunday lunches we've had in a long while, a real gem of a country inn, one to repeat most definitely. Up there amongst the best, we will be back" - February 2025

"Great Haggis, Aye! Burns Night celebration What a fantastic evening, all one would expect, lots of tartan, absolutely outrageously good food, even a tot of whisky included plus readings of Burns ‘ work in Scottish dialect. "Good experience We were in the area, hadn't booked. Warm welcome, interesting menu. Had starters and mains, all very tasty and well presented. Pub was clean and nicely decorated for Christmas. Would definitely visit again if this way."

"Me and mum just had Sunday lunch, first time eating here. The welcome from the community was lovely, pub itself very welcoming and cosy, both had lamb which melted in the mouth and the cauliflower cheese was best I have ever had, thank you to chef Adrian and everyone who helps run this little gem, we will most certainly be back xx"
