"Great food, good value and super service. Had a wonderful lunch today with family. We had mains and pudding from the standard menu. The food was excellent. We chose pie of the day, sea bass and chicken supreme with tiramisu, cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding. It was so nice to share a meal in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy the friendly service. I'm glad we are also booked in for the Christmas menu soon. If we can, we will be back before then."

" Brilliant Had an early Christmas meal with friends who won’t be around at Christmas. Absolutely brilliant! The decorations were up, the music was soft but Christmassy Food was piping hot and plentiful. The staff were attentive and interested in looking after us. The pub was bustling with other diners and many locals at the bar, which gave a wonderful ”genuine” and authentic feel to the evening. All in all, wonderful start to the season, lots of choices on the menu if turkey isn’t your thing, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the great value for money, and only 3 miles from Stratford. Coincidentally, they offer camper van overnight parking if you have a van and then you can save the cost of a taxi home Brilliant! A “proper pub”."

"We got there at last We've been trying to get to the Fox due to word of mouth recommendations. We arrived just before the kitchen was closing. The staff were more than accommodating. We ordered 2 steak and ale pies. They arrived very quickly and looked incredible. The pie was full of succulent beef with a tremendous flavour. Mash, peas, mange tout, carrots and baby sweetcorn completed the plate. We hope to go back there in the future"

"Great Sunday Lunch Booked a last minute Sunday Lunch we were not disappointed. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The Sunday lunch was spot on we could not fault it . We had the Roast Pork and the Beef , the portions were generous . We will definitely be back."

"Friendly pub with good food ! Yet another great meal this month. We had the pies which were so substantial and tasty. Lovely atmosphere attracting locals and newcomers. Must try starter and pud next time as the cheesecake and tiramisu are delicious and we need to sample the rest!"

"Wow! This place is a rare gem! From the cosy atmosphere, with locals and tourists alike, to the kind and welcoming staff who are attentive to your needs. In love with the food, hearty fare full of love and care. Portion sizes are generous. So many gluten free options all home made. The pie has a reputation, and doesn't disappoint. Will come back again and can't recommend enough. Thank you chef Gemma and Andy and Sally for a joyful and fulfilling evening.."
