"The best place to eat in Stratford and surrounding area. Possibly the best country pub in the area. The food is superb, with good quality pub food at a sensible price. Friends say, it’s rare to come to a pub and to want one of everything on the menu! We’ve just had the valentines meal, the starter was amazing, the steak was sublime, I can’t rate the fox highly enough. I would give the pub and Gemma (the chef) a solid 10 out of 5. Well worth the visit.. come see for yourself."

"Wonderful Burns night Was lucky enough to get into Burns night supper on Friday. Lovely little haggis bon buns and a salmon main that I could eat again and again and again. Great atmosphere and service was amazing."

"Great Sunday Lunch , great new team. Booked Sunday Lunch at the Fox . We were very impressed the new team are doing a great job . We had the Beef and the Pork with all the trimming . It was all well cooked and generous portions . The Bread and Butter Pudding was delicious Great Sunday lunch . Very friendly and attentive service . Would recommend booking as it was full which shows how good it now is."

"Amazing Sunday Lunch We had am amazing Sunday lunch at the pub. Beef or pork with other non roast dinner available. The Yorkshire pudding were a very good size and the cauliflower cheese was the best I have had in years. Will be back"

"Wow! This place is a rare gem! From the cosy atmosphere, with locals and tourists alike, to the kind and welcoming staff who are attentive to your needs. In love with the food, hearty fare full of love and care. Portion sizes are generous. So many gluten free options all home made. The pie has a reputation, and doesn't disappoint. Will come back again and can't recommend enough. Thank you chef Gemma and Andy and Sally for a joyful and fulfilling evening.."
