We have some special nights for you to enjoy at the Fox at Loxley as well as a number of upcoming events where everyone is welcome

Quiz night

3rd March 2026 - 8pm

Every other Tuesday we have our very popular quiz night. The start time is 8pm but the pub is open from 6pm on a Tuesday.

The teams are from 2 to 6 people and the cost is £3 per person and we have prizes and an accumulator prize.

As a community pub we make everyone welcome so if you would like to come along we can normally find a team for you to join, or book ahead by calling us on 01789 840933

The next quiz nights are the 3rd, 17th and 31st of March

Mothers Day

We have not finalised our Mothers Day menu yet, but it is worth putting the date in your diary.

Playing cards with friends

Whenever we are open

The Fox at Loxley is a welcoming Community pub, and there is nothing better than playing cards with friends, while having a drink and maybe even a bowl of chips.

At the Fox at Loxley we want every visit to be a special event, so how about you pop along with some friends and ask to borrow one of our packs of cards and make this your very own Special Night and Event.

Six nations

Saturday 21st February 2.10pm

We will be showing the England games of the Six Nations Rugby, starting with the next game being England v Ireland on Saturday 21st February.

The other games will be:

England v Italy Saturday 7th March 4.40pm

England v France Saturday 14th March 8.10pm

Sunday lunch

Every Sunday 12 to 2.30pm

Sunday lunch at the Fox is very popular, so we do recommend you book, and as well as having a choice of roast meats and a vegetarian option we also have a couple of other dishes available. All our roasts come with homemade Yorkshire pudding and Cauliflower cheese included.

We serve lunch until 2.30pm and we are open until 4pm so please do pop along and join us for a traditional Sunday lunch in a village pub that has the added charm of being a Community owned pub

Take away Fish and Chips

Wednesday to Saturday

We are now offering take away fish and chips, available Wednesday to Saturday during our normal food service.

The Fox at Loxley's delicious take away fish and chips is £12.50.

We will freshly prepare them while you wait and if you want to buy yourself a pint or any other drink while you are waiting we will not tell anyone.

The Pub Garden Project

Help us Grow

We have set ourselves a target of raising £2,500 by the end of March to buy 6 new Pub benches and hanging baskets for the pub garden and front of the pub.

As a Community pub we are limited with what we can afford from the pub funds and this is why we are asking for contributions from our wonderful community. The target we have set is to raise £2,500, half of which will come from pub reserves and the other half from our generous Community.
