Quiz night

Quiz of 2025 6th January 2026 - 8pm

Every other Tuesday we have our very popular quiz night. The start time is 8pm but the pub is open from 6pm on a Tuesday.

The teams are from 2 to 6 people and the cost is £3 per person and we have prizes and an accumulator prize.

As a community pub we make everyone welcome so if you would like to come along we can normally find a team for you to join, or book ahead by calling us on 01789 840933

The next quiz night is the special "Quiz of 2025" on the 6th January.

Pie and a Pint

More details to follow in the next couple of days, but we are running a promotion on a free pint of ale or small glass of wine with our very popular pie.

This will run though the whole of January and will be for Lunch or Dinner, but excluding Sunday Lunch.

Playing cards with friends

Whenever we are open

The Fox at Loxley is a welcoming Community pub, and there is nothing better than playing cards with friends, while having a drink and maybe even a bowl of chips.

At the Fox at Loxley we want every visit to be a special event, so how about you pop along with some friends and ask to borrow one of our packs of cards and make this your very own Special Night and Event.

Burns Night

Friday 23rd January

As we catch up after Xmas we will soon be publishing here our special Burns Night menu, that we will be serving on Friday the 23rd January.

This is always a popular event and will need to be pre booked and a small deposit of £5 per person. Watch this space or call into the pub to ask for more information.

Sunday lunch

Every Sunday 12 to 2.30pm

Sunday lunch at the Fox is very popular, so we do recommend you book, and as well as having a choice of roast meats and a vegetarian option we also have a couple of other dishes available. All our roasts come with homemade Yorkshire pudding and Cauliflower cheese included.

We serve lunch until 2.30pm and we are open until 4pm so please do pop along and join us for a traditional Sunday lunch in a village pub that has the added charm of being a Community owned pub

Take away Fish and Chips

Wednesday to Saturday

We are now offering take away fish and chips, available Wednesday to Saturday during our normal food service.

The Fox at Loxley's delicious take away fish and chips is £12.50.

We will freshly prepare them while you wait and if you want to buy yourself a pint or any other drink while you are waiting we will not tell anyone.

Valentine's night

Saturday 14th February

We have a special valentine menu for Saturday the 14th February that will be shared on our website and via Facebook and Instagram in the next couple of weeks.
